The BCANDS Indigenous RDSP Navigator Program is designed to help Indigenous individuals living with disabilities and their families qualify for and open a Registered Disability Savings Plan (RDSP). The RDSP is a long-term registered matched savings plan that gives Canadians living with a disability an opportunity to save for the future and take advantage of up to $90,000 in federal grants and bonds. RDSP Navigators provide specialized support and navigation for Indigenous Peoples through a variety of free services including: one-to-one support to qualify for and open an RDSP, information sessions, tax filing, and more. The goal of this BCANDS service is to see the RDSP in the hands of every eligible person.
